MASS AIR FLOW METER ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK MASS AIR FLOW METER SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. Check the mass air flow value.


      1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

      2. Turn the ignition switch to ON.

      3. Turn the GTS on.

      4. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine and ECT / Data List / All Data / MAF.

      5. A004NBD

        Blow air into the mass air flow meter sub-assembly and check that the mass air flow meter value fluctuates.

        If the result is not as specified, check the mass air flow meter sub-assembly or wiring and ECM Click here.
