DESCRIPTION

This DTC is stored when items controlled by the certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly) cannot be customized via the audio and visual system vehicle settings screen.

  1. CHECK CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

  2. CHECK ENTRY AND START SYSTEM (for Entry Function)


    1. Check if the entry and start system (for Entry Function) is malfunctioning Click here.

      Tech Tips

      Customization may not be possible depending on the malfunction in the entry and start system (for Entry Function).

      OK
      No malfunctions are present in the entry and start system (for Entry Function).

  3. CHECK CUSTOMIZE ITEMS


    1. Display the "Vehicle settings" screen.

    2. Make a note of the customizable items for each certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly) related system.

      These items shown as customizable via the audio and visual system vehicle settings screen can also be changed using the GTS. In a following step, the GTS will be used.


      1. To match-up the items in the radio and display receiver assembly with the items on the GTS, check the customize parameters list for the entry and start system (for Entry Function) related items that can be customized via the display screen Click here.

    3. Using the GTS, confirm that it is possible to change the settings of the customize parameters that are available for customization via the display screen.
