PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK SPEAKER


    1. Check the malfunctioning speakers.

  2. CHECK FRONT SIDE SPEAKER


    1. Check the malfunctioning speakers.

  3. REPLACE FRONT NO. 2 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY


    1. Temporarily replace the front No. 2 speaker assembly with a new or normally functioning one Click here.

    2. Check that the malfunction disappears.

      Tech Tips


      • Connect all the speaker connectors to the speakers.

      • When there is a possibility that either the right or left speaker is defective, inspect by interchanging the right one with the left one.

  4. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY- FRONT NO. 2 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY)


    1. Disconnect the D1 radio receiver assembly connector.

    2. Disconnect the D39*1 and/or D40*2 front No. 2 speaker assembly connector.


      • *1: for RH Side

      • *2: for LH Side

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      for RH Side

      D1-1 (FR+) - D39-4 (+) Always Below 1 Ω
      D1-5 (FR-) - D39-2 (-)
      D1-1 (FR+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

  5. INSPECT FRONT NO. 1 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY


    1. A004NS1

      Disconnect the E1*1 and/or E11*2 front No. 1 speaker assembly connector.


      • *1: for RH Side

      • *2: for LH Side

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

  6. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (FRONT NO. 2 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY - FRONT NO. 1 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY)

    • *2: for LH Side


    1. Disconnect the D39*1 and/or D40*2 front No. 2 speaker assembly connector.

    2. Disconnect the E1*1 and/or E11*2 front No. 1 speaker assembly connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

  7. INSPECT REAR SPEAKER ASSEMBLY

      Disconnect the F2*1 and/or F7*2 rear speaker assembly connector.


      • *1: for RH Side

      • *2: for LH Side

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

  8. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY - REAR SPEAKER ASSEMBLY)


    1. Disconnect the D2 radio receiver assembly connector.

    2. Disconnect the F2*1 and/or F7*2 rear speaker assembly connector.


      • *1: for RH Side

      • *2: for LH Side

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
