DESCRIPTION

The yaw rate sensor has a built-in G sensor. The electric parking brake ECU receives signals from the yaw rate sensor through the CAN communication system.

The DTC is stored when the calibration has not been completed.

C1336/74 The G sensor is not calibrated.
  • Zero point calibration incomplete (Perform zero point calibration and check for DTCs. If this DTC is not output again, the sensor is normal)

  • Electric parking brake ECU (Parking brake with bracket actuator assembly)

CAUTION / NOTICE / HINT

Note


  • Before performing work, turn the ignition switch off and wait approximately 20 seconds to make sure that the parking brake cannot operate.

  • When replacing the parking brake with bracket actuator assembly and/or yaw rate and acceleration sensor, perform zero point calibration Click here.

PROCEDURE


  1. PERFORM ZERO POINT CALIBRATION


    1. Perform zero point calibration of the yaw rate sensor Click here.

  2. RECONFIRM DTC


    1. Clear the DTCs Click here.

    2. Drive the vehicle and turn the steering wheel to the right and left.

    3. Check for DTCs Click here.

  3. CHECK YAW RATE SENSOR INSTALLATION


    1. Turn the ignition switch off.

    2. Check that the yaw rate sensor is installed properly Click here.

      OK
      The sensor is tightened to the specified torque.
      The sensor is not tilted.

    OK
  4. READ VALUE USING INTELLIGENT TESTER (DECELERATION SENSOR 1)


    1. Turn the ignition switch off.

    2. Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.

    3. Select the Data List mode on the intelligent tester Click here.
