DESCRIPTION
The yaw rate sensor has a built-in G sensor. The electric parking brake ECU receives vehicle tilt information from the yaw rate sensor via CAN communication.

Note
Before performing work, turn the ignition switch off and wait approximately 20 seconds to make sure that the parking brake cannot operate.
When replacing the parking brake with bracket actuator assembly and/or yaw rate sensor, perform zero point calibration Click here.

CHECK DTC (VEHICLE STABILITY CONTROL SYSTEM)
Check if a yaw rate sensor malfunction DTC is output for the vehicle stability control system Click here.
