DESCRIPTION

When the electric parking brake ECU receives an engine control system malfunction signal, this DTC is stored.

C1201/64 The safety critical CAN signals from the ECM for the electric parking brake control cycle are consecutively set to failure for a specified time.

  • Electric parking brake ECU (Parking brake with bracket actuator assembly)

Note


  • Before performing work, turn the ignition switch off and wait approximately 20 seconds to make sure that the parking brake cannot operate.

  • When replacing the parking brake with bracket actuator assembly, perform zero point calibration Click here.

  1. CHECK ENGINE CONTROL SYSTEM


    1. Check if an engine control system DTC is output (for 1WW: See page , for 2WW: Click here.

  2. RECONFIRM DTC
