Tech Tips
Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.
The following procedure is for the LH side.
Note
Because the left and right rear flexible hoses are not interchangeable, verify the part number when installing the flexible hoses.
If the hoses are to be reused, connect them after checking the identification marks placed when each hose is removed.
PROCEDURE
INSTALL REAR FLEXIBLE HOSE
Install the rear flexible hose with a new clip.
Note
Make sure the clip is completely pushed in.
Using a union nut wrench, connect the brake line to the rear flexible hose while holding the rear flexible hose with a wrench.
Note
Do not kink or damage the brake line.
Do not allow any foreign matter such as dirt and dust to enter the brake line.

Connect the rear flexible hose to the rear axle beam with the bolt.
Install a new gasket and connect the rear flexible hose to the rear disc brake cylinder assembly with a new union bolt.
FILL RESERVOIR WITH BRAKE FLUID
BLEED BRAKE LINE
BLEED CLUTCH LINE (for 1AD-FTV)
BLEED CLUTCH LINE (for 2AD-FHV)
BLEED CLUTCH LINE (for 2AD-FTV)
INSPECT FOR BRAKE FLUID LEAK
INSTALL CENTER COWL TOP VENTILATOR LOUVER
INSPECT BRAKE FLUID LEVEL
INSTALL REAR WHEEL
