REAR BUMPER(for Sedan) INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL REAR BUMPER UPPER RETAINER LH


    1. Attach the 2 claws to install the rear bumper upper retainer LH.

    2. Install the screw.

  2. INSTALL REAR BUMPER UPPER RETAINER RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  3. INSTALL REAR BUMPER NO. 2 SIDE RETAINER LH


    1. Attach the 3 claws to install the rear bumper No. 2 side retainer LH.

    2. Install the 2 screws.

  4. INSTALL REAR BUMPER NO. 2 SIDE RETAINER RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  5. INSTALL REAR BUMPER SIDE RETAINER LH


    1. Attach the 3 claws to install the rear bumper side retainer LH.

    2. Install the 2 screws.

    3. Install the rear bumper bracket.

  6. INSTALL REAR BUMPER SIDE RETAINER RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  7. INSTALL REAR BUMPER SIDE SEAL LH


    1. Install the rear bumper side seal LH with the 3 clips.

    2. Install the nut.

    3. Install a new grommet.

  8. INSTALL REAR BUMPER SIDE SEAL RH


    1. Install the rear bumper side seal RH with the 2 clips.

    2. Install the nut.

    3. Install a new grommet.

  9. INSTALL REAR BUMPER ARM SUB-ASSEMBLY LH


    1. Install the rear bumper arm sub-assembly LH with the 3 bolts.

      Torque:
      12 N*m  { 117 kgf*cm, 8 ft.*lbf }

  10. INSTALL REAR BUMPER ARM SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  11. INSTALL REAR BUMPER NO. 1 REINFORCEMENT


    1. Install the rear bumper No. 1 reinforcement with the 8 bolts.

      Torque:
      12 N*m  { 117 kgf*cm, 8 ft.*lbf }

  12. INSTALL REAR BUMPER COVER


    1. Attach the 18 claws to install the rear bumper cover.

    2. Install the 2 screws.

    3. Install the 8 clips.

    4. Install the clip.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure for the other side.
