  • Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.

  • The procedure listed below is for the LH side.

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE LICENSE PLATE LIGHT LENS


    1. A0055DQ

      Insert a screwdriver into the hole of the license plate light lens.

      Tech Tips

      Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

      B0040QK Protective Tape

    2. Slightly push the screwdriver in the direction indicated by the arrow shown in the illustration to widen the license plate light lens with the tip of the screwdriver to detach the claw.

    3. Detach the remaining claw and remove the license plate light lens.

  2. REMOVE LICENSE PLATE LIGHT BULB


    1. A0057GF

      Remove the license plate light bulb.

  3. REMOVE BACK DOOR ASSIST GRIP

  5. REMOVE BACK DOOR TRIM COVER

    Click here

  6. REMOVE LICENSE PLATE LIGHT ASSEMBLY


    1. A0055JR

      Disconnect the connector.

    2. A0056G7

      Detach the 2 claws and remove the license plate light assembly.

  7. REMOVE LICENSE PLATE LIGHT BODY GASKET


    1. Remove the a license plate light body gasket.

      Note

      The gasket must not be reused.
