AUTOMATIC HIGH BEAM SYSTEM DTC CHECK / CLEAR


  1. CHECK DTC


    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the ignition switch to ON.

    3. Turn the GTS on.

    4. Enter the following menus:


      1. for Main Body: Body Electrical / Main Body / Trouble Codes.

      2. for PCS/LDA/RSA/LVN: Chassis / PCS/LDA/ RSA/LVN /Trouble Codes.

    5. Check for DTCs.

      Note

      Check for DTCs with the ignition switch turned to ON.

      Tech Tips


      • If DTCs are displayed, refer to the Diagnostic Trouble Code Chart Click here.

      • Check for DTCs again after repairs, and ensure that no DTCs are output.

  2. CLEAR DTC


    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the ignition switch to ON.

    3. Turn the GTS on.

    4. Enter the following menus:


      1. for Main Body: Body Electrical / Main Body / Trouble Codes.

      2. for PCS/LDA/RSA/LVN: Chassis / PCS/LDA/ RSA/LVN /Trouble Codes.

    5. Clear the DTCs.
