ROOF SUNSHADE REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. PRECAUTION

    Note

    After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal notice before proceeding with work Click here.

  2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    CAUTION:

    Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system.

    Note

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Click here.

  3. REMOVE FRONT ROOF SIDE GARNISH LH


    1. Remove the front roof side garnish LH Click here.

  4. REMOVE FRONT ROOF SIDE GARNISH RH

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  5. REMOVE UPPER ROOF RACK FRAME

      Remove the 8 nuts and 4 upper roof rack frames.

  6. REMOVE CURTAIN SHIELD AIRBAG ASSEMBLY LH


    1. Remove the curtain shield airbag assembly LH Click here.

  7. REMOVE CURTAIN SHIELD AIRBAG ASSEMBLY RH

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  8. REMOVE SLIDING ROOF HOUSING SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Detach the connector wire clamp.

    2. Remove the 14 nuts and 2 bolts.

  9. REMOVE NO. 1 ROOF WINDOW GLASS SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. Remove the 14 nuts and No. 1 roof window glass.
