  • The procedure listed below is for LHD vehicles.

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL GLOVE COMPARTMENT DOOR LOCKCYLINDER ASSEMBLY (for RHD)

      Insert the bottom side of the glove compartment door lock cylinder as shown in the illustration, hold down the stopper and install the glove compartment door lock cylinder.

  2. INSTALL NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL REGISTER ASSEMBLY


    1. A0052QV

      Attach the 9 claws to install the No. 2 instrument panel register assembly to the install the instrument panel finish panel end LH.

  3. INSTALL NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL REGISTER ASSEMBLY


    1. A0059AE

      Attach the 9 claws to install the No. 1 instrument panel register assembly to the install the instrument panel finish panel end RH.

  4. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL CUSHION (w/ Cushion)


    1. Install the instrument panel cushion in the position shown in the illustration.

  5. INSTALL NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL STAY

      Install the No. 1 instrument panel stay with the 2 screws <A>.

  6. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL PASSENGER WITHOUT DOOR AIRBAG ASSEMBLY

  7. INSTALL NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL WIRE

  8. INSTALL NO. 2 SIDE DEFROSTER NOZZLE

      Attach the 4 claws to install the No. 2 side defroster nozzle.

  9. INSTALL NO. 1 SIDE DEFROSTER NOZZLE

      Attach the 4 claws to install the No. 1 side defroster nozzle.

  10. INSTALL NO. 1 DEFROSTER NOZZLE GARNISH


    1. Attach the 6 claws to install the No. 1 defroster nozzle garnish.

    2. Install the 8 screws <C>.

  11. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL CUSHION

    Note

    Installing the part with double-sided tape residue still remaining can cause poor adhesion. Therefore, using a cloth or other material, clean the part until the residue is completely removed (when reusing the upper instrument panel sub-assembly).


    1. Remove the peeling paper from a new instrument panel cushion and press firmly to install the instrument panel cushion in the position shown in the illustration.

  12. INSTALL NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL CUSHION

    Note

    Installing the part with double-sided tape residue still remaining can cause poor adhesion. Therefore, using a cloth or other material, clean the part until the residue is completely removed (when reusing the upper instrument panel sub-assembly).


    1. Remove the peeling paper from a new No. 1 instrument panel cushion and press firmly to install the No. 1 instrument panel cushion in the position shown in the illustration.

  13. INSTALL NO. 1 METER HOOD RETAINER

      Install the No. 1 meter hood retainer with the 2 screws <C>.

  14. INSTALL NO. 1 HEATER TO REGISTER DUCT
