DESCRIPTION

The combination meter assembly receives a text data signal from the radio and display receiver assembly via local bus communication.

Based on this signal, navigation and audio and visual information is displayed on the multi-information display.

This DTC is stored when the combination meter assembly cannot receive the signal.

B150A After the combination meter assembly receives a registration information signal, which is sent by the radio and display receiver assembly when the ignition switch is ACC, 1 or more times, the combination meter assembly cannot receive the signal for 30 seconds or more.

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK DTC (NAVIGATION SYSTEM)


    1. Check for DTCs Click here.

      OK
      No DTCs are output.

    NG

    GO TO NAVIGATION SYSTEM Click here

    OK

  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY - RADIO AND DISPLAY RECEIVER ASSEMBLY)


    1. Disconnect the D66 combination meter assembly connector.

    2. Disconnect the D133 radio and display receiver assembly connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      D66-36 (MSCH) - D133-3 (CNH1) Always Below 1 Ω
      D66-37 (MSCL) - D133-4 (CNL1) Always Below 1 Ω
      D66-36 (MSCH) or D133-3 (CNH1) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      D66-37 (MSCL) or D133-4 (CNL1) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

    NG

    REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

    OK

  3. CHECK COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY


    1. Replace the combination meter assembly Click here.

    2. Turn the ignition switch to ON and wait 30 seconds.

      Note

      A maximum of 30 seconds is required to send/receive the registration information between the combination meter assembly and radio and display receiver assembly.

    3. Operate the steering pad switch assembly and check that the audio tab illuminates.

    4. Check for DTCs Click here.

      OK
      The audio tab illuminates and DTC B150A is not output.

    OK
