  2. PRECAUTION WHEN REPLACING MAIN BODY ECU (INSTRUMENT PANEL JUNCTION BLOCK ASSEMBLY)


    1. As the door control battery is installed between the vehicle battery and main body ECU (instrument panel junction block assembly), first perform the inspections in On-Vehicle Inspection to confirm that there are no malfunctions in the power source circuit for the main body ECU (instrument panel junction block assembly) before performing this troubleshooting procedure Click here.

    2. If the BODY ECU fuse (the main power source fuse of the main body ECU [instrument panel junction block assembly]) is removed with the door control battery charged, power will be supplied to the main body ECU (instrument panel junction block assembly) from the door control battery for up to 30 minutes. At this time, the main body ECU (instrument panel junction block assembly) will be able to function with the BODY ECU fuse (the main power source fuse of the main body ECU [instrument panel junction block assembly]) removed.
