GENERATOR INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL GENERATOR ASSEMBLY


    1. Install the wire harness clamp bracket with the bolt.

      Torque:
      8.4 N*m  { 85 kgf*cm, 74 in.*lbf }

    2. Temporarily install the generator assembly and No. 2 generator bracket with the 3 bolts.

    3. A0053W8E03

      Tighten the 3 bolts in the order shown in the illustration to install the generator assembly and No. 2 generator bracket.

      Torque:
      for bolt A
      43 N*m  { 438 kgf*cm, 32 ft.*lbf }
      for bolt B
      25 N*m  { 255 kgf*cm, 18 ft.*lbf }

    4. Connect the wire harness to terminal B with the nut and install the terminal cap.

      Torque:
      9.8 N*m  { 100 kgf*cm, 87 in.*lbf }

    5. Connect the connector and attach the wire harness clamp.

  2. INSTALL V-RIBBED BELT

  3. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    Note

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Click here.

  4. INSPECT V-RIBBED BELT

  5. INSTALL REAR ENGINE UNDER COVER RH

  6. INSTALL NO. 2 CYLINDER HEAD COVER

  7. INSTALL RADIATOR SUPPORT OPENING COVER
