RADIO ANTENNA CORD INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY (for LHD)


    1. w/o Digital Audio Broadcasting:


      1. Attach the 6 clamps.

      2. Connect the connector.

      3. Install the antenna cord with the bolt.

        Torque:
        8.4 N*m  { 85 kgf*cm, 73 in.*lbf }

    2. w/ Digital Audio Broadcasting:


      1. Attach the 6 clamps.

      2. Connect the connector.

      3. Install the antenna cord with the bolt.

        Torque:
        8.4 N*m  { 85 kgf*cm, 73 in.*lbf }

  2. INSTALL ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY (for RHD)


    1. w/o Digital Audio Broadcasting:


      1. Attach the 6 clamps.

      2. Connect the connector.

      3. Install the antenna cord with the bolt.

        Torque:
        8.4 N*m  { 85 kgf*cm, 73 in.*lbf }

    2. w/ Digital Audio Broadcasting:


      1. Attach the 6 clamps.

      2. Connect the connector.

      3. Install the antenna cord with the bolt.

        Torque:
        8.4 N*m  { 85 kgf*cm, 73 in.*lbf }

  3. INSTALL DEFROSTER NOZZLE ASSEMBLY

  4. INSTALL UPPER INSTRUMENT PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. Install the upper instrument panel Click here.

  5. INSTALL AMPLIFIER ANTENNA ASSEMBLY (for Sedan)


    1. w/o Digital Audio Broadcasting:


      1. Align the marking tape on the antenna cord with the roof headlining tabs shown in A and B, and wrap tape around the cord to install it.

      2. Starting from the front of the vehicle, attach the antenna cord to the roof headlining with tape at the 6 marked locations labeled "a".

      3. While adjusting the slack of the antenna cord, attach the antenna cord to the roof headlining with tape at the marked location labeled "b".

    2. w/ Digital Audio Broadcasting:


      1. Align the marking tape on the antenna cord with the roof headlining tabs shown in A and B, and wrap tape around the cord to install it.

      2. Starting from the front of the vehicle, attach the antenna cord to the roof headlining with tape at the 5 marked locations labeled "a".

      3. While adjusting the slack of the antenna cord, attach the antenna cord to the roof headlining with tape at the marked location labeled "b".

      4. Align the marking tape on the antenna cord with the roof headlining tabs shown in C, and wrap tape around the cord to install it.

      5. Starting from the right of the vehicle, attach the antenna cord to the roof headlining with tape at the 4 marked locations labeled "c".

      6. While adjusting the slack of the antenna cord, attach the antenna cord to the roof headlining with tape at the marked location labeled "d".

  6. INSTALL AMPLIFIER ANTENNA ASSEMBLY (for Wagon)


    1. w/o Panorama Roof, w/o Digital Audio Broadcasting:


      1. Align the marking tape on the antenna cord with the roof headlining tabs shown in A and B, and wrap tape around the cord to install it.

      2. Starting from the front of the vehicle, attach the antenna cord to the roof headlining with tape at the 8 marked locations labeled "a".

      3. While adjusting the slack of the antenna cord, attach the antenna cord to the roof headlining with tape at the marked location labeled "b".

    2. w/o Panorama Roof, w/ Digital Audio Broadcasting:


      1. Align the marking tape on the antenna cord with the roof headlining tabs shown in A and B, and wrap tape around the cord to install it.

      2. Starting from the front of the vehicle, attach the antenna cord to the roof headlining with tape at the 8 marked locations labeled "a".

      3. While adjusting the slack of the antenna cord, attach the antenna cord to the roof headlining with tape at the marked location labeled "b".

    3. w/ Panorama Roof, w/o Digital Audio Broadcasting:


      1. Align the marking tape on the antenna cord with the roof headlining tabs shown in A and B, and wrap tape around the cord to install it.

      2. Starting from the front of the vehicle, attach the antenna cord to the roof headlining with tape at the 10 marked locations labeled "a".

      3. While adjusting the slack of the antenna cord, attach the antenna cord to the roof headlining with tape at the marked location labeled "b".

    4. w/ Panorama Roof, w/ Digital Audio Broadcasting:


      1. Align the marking tape on the antenna cord with the roof headlining tabs shown in A and B, and wrap tape around the cord to install it.

      2. Starting from the front of the vehicle, attach the antenna cord to the roof headlining with tape at the 10 marked locations labeled "a".

      3. While adjusting the slack of the antenna cord, attach the antenna cord to the roof headlining with tape at the marked location labeled "b".

  8. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    Note

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Click here.
