SEAT BELT WARNING SYSTEM Rear Seat Belt Warning Light Malfunction

DESCRIPTION

When a rear door is opened and closed (the rear door courtesy light switch assembly turns on and off) with the ignition switch ON, or when a rear door is opened and closed (the rear door courtesy light switch assembly turns on and off) and then the ignition switch is turned to ON, the rear seat belt warning light in the upper console panel sub-assembly turns on to inform the driver of the rear seat belt condition. If a rear seat belt is fastened or unfastened, the warning light changes to indicate the current rear seat belt condition.

  5. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (UPPER CONSOLE PANEL - COMBINATION METER AND BATTERY)


    1. Disconnect the D141 upper console panel sub-assembly connector.

    2. Disconnect the D66 combination meter assembly connector.

    3. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

    4. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

    1. Disconnect the G12 and G13 rear seat inner with center belt assembly LH connectors.

    2. Disconnect the D66 combination meter assembly connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
