YAW RATE AND DECELERATION SENSOR INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL YAW RATE SENSOR


    1. A0056DU

      Install the yaw rate sensor to the yaw rate sensor bracket with the 2 bolts.

      Torque:
      6.5 N*m  { 66 kgf*cm, 58 in.*lbf }

      Note

      If the sensor is dropped, replace it.

    2. A0058QH

      Install the yaw rate sensor bracket with the 2 bolts.

      Torque:
      15 N*m  { 148 kgf*cm, 11 ft.*lbf }

      Note

      Make sure that there is no foreign matter or carpet between the bracket and floor.

    3. Connect the sensor connector and attach the clamp to the hole of the sensor bracket.

      Note

      Securely connect the connector.

  2. INSTALL CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY (w/ Console Box Lid)


    1. Install the console box assembly Click here.

  3. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    Note

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Click here.

  4. PERFORM YAW RATE SENSOR ZERO POINT CALIBRATION
