REAR SPEED SENSOR INSPECTION

PROCEDURE

1. INSPECT SKID CONTROL SENSOR

   
   

   1. Check the skid control sensor.

      Under any of the following conditions, replace the rear axle hub and bearing assembly.

      
      

      • The surface of the skid control sensor is cracked, dented or chipped.

      • The skid control sensor has been dropped.

2. INSPECT SKID CONTROL SENSOR WIRE

   
   

   1. Check the sensor wire.

      Under any of the following conditions, replace the sensor wire with a new one.

      
      

      • The connector or wire harness is scratched, cracked or damaged.
