SHIFT LEVER REASSEMBLY

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL SHIFT LOCK CONTROL ECU


    1. A0057P5

      Attach the 3 claws to install the shift lock control ECU to the shift lock control unit.

    2. Connect the shift lock solenoid connector to the shift lock control ECU.

  2. INSTALL LOWER POSITION INDICATOR HOUSING

      Attach the 4 claws to install the lower position indicator housing to the shift lock control unit.

  3. INSTALL NO. 2 POSITION INDICATOR SLIDE COVER


    1. A0054W5

      Install the No. 2 position indicator slide cover to the position indicator slide cover.

  4. INSTALL POSITION INDICATOR SLIDE COVER


    1. A0057M1

      Install the position indicator slide cover together with the No. 2 position indicator slide cover to the position indicator housing assembly.

  5. INSTALL SHIFT LOCK RELEASE BUTTON


    1. A0052I7

      Install the shift lock release button compression spring, and then attach the 2 claws to install the shift lock release button to the position indicator housing assembly.

  6. INSTALL FLOOR SHIFT POSITION INDICATOR HOUSING SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. A0054XS

      Attach the 4 claws to install the floor shift position indicator housing sub-assembly to the position indicator housing assembly.

  7. INSTALL POSITION INDICATOR LIGHT BULB


    1. Install the cap to the position indicator light bulb.

    2. Install the position indicator light bulb to the position indicator light wire socket.

  8. INSTALL INDICATOR LIGHT WIRE SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. A00565V

      Align the wire with the key part of the position indicator housing assembly, and install the indicator light wire sub-assembly. Then rotate the wire clockwise until it locks.

    2. Attach the 4 clamps to connect the indicator light wire sub-assembly and connector to the position indicator housing assembly.

  9. INSTALL POSITION INDICATOR HOUSING ASSEMBLY

      Install the position indicator housing assembly to the rear upper console panel sub-assembly with the 4 screws.
