SHIFT LEVER DISASSEMBLY

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE POSITION INDICATOR HOUSING ASSEMBLY

      Remove the 4 screws and position indicator housing assembly from the rear upper console panel sub-assembly.

  2. REMOVE INDICATOR LIGHT WIRE SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Detach the 4 clamps and disconnect the indicator light wire sub-assembly and connector from the position indicator housing assembly.

    2. Rotate the indicator light wire counterclockwise to align the key part and remove the wire.

  3. REMOVE POSITION INDICATOR LIGHT BULB


    1. Remove the position indicator light bulb and cap from the indicator light wire socket.

  4. REMOVE FLOOR SHIFT POSITION INDICATOR HOUSING SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Detach the 4 claws and remove the floor shift position indicator housing sub-assembly from the position indicator housing assembly.

  5. REMOVE SHIFT LOCK RELEASE BUTTON

      Detach the 2 claws and remove the shift lock release button and shift lock release button compression spring from the position indicator housing assembly.

  6. REMOVE POSITION INDICATOR SLIDE COVER

      Remove the position indicator slide cover together with No. 2 position indicator slide cover.

  7. REMOVE NO. 2 POSITION INDICATOR SLIDE COVER

      Remove the No. 2 position indicator slide cover from the position indicator slide cover.

  8. REMOVE LOWER POSITION INDICATOR HOUSING


    1. A00572Z

      Detach the 4 claws and remove the lower position indicator housing from the shift lock control unit.

  9. REMOVE SHIFT LOCK CONTROL ECU


    1. A0057P5

      Disconnect the shift lock solenoid connector from the shift lock control ECU.

    2. Detach the 3 claws and remove the shift lock control ECU from the shift lock control unit.
