REVOLUTION SENSOR REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. PRECAUTION

    Note

    After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal notice before proceeding with work Click here.

  2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    CAUTION:

    Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system.

    Note

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Click here.

  3. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM POSITIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

  4. REMOVE NO. 2 CYLINDER HEAD COVER

  5. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CAP SUB-ASSEMBLY

    Click here

  6. REMOVE AIR CLEANER FILTER ELEMENT SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. Remove the air cleaner filter element sub-assembly from the air cleaner case sub-assembly.

  7. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CASE SUB-ASSEMBLY

  8. REMOVE BATTERY CLAMP SUB-ASSEMBLY

    Click here

  9. REMOVE BATTERY

  10. REMOVE BATTERY TRAY

  11. DISCONNECT RADIATOR PIPE


    1. A005339

      Remove the 2 bolts and disconnect the radiator pipe from the battery carrier.

  12. REMOVE BATTERY CARRIER

  13. REMOVE TRANSMISSION REVOLUTION SENSOR (NIN)


    1. A0057V7

      Disconnect the connector.

    2. Remove the bolt and transmission revolution sensor (NIN) from the continuously variable transaxle assembly.

    3. Remove the O-ring from the transmission revolution sensor (NIN).

  14. REMOVE TRANSMISSION REVOLUTION SENSOR (NOUT)


    1. A0059JK

      Disconnect the connector.

    2. Remove the bolt and transmission revolution sensor (NOUT) from the continuously variable transaxle assembly.

    3. Remove the O-ring from the transmission revolution sensor (NOUT).

  15. REMOVE TRANSMISSION REVOLUTION SENSOR (NT)


    1. A0056GL

      Disconnect the connector.

    2. Remove the bolt and transmission revolution sensor (NT) from the continuously variable transaxle assembly.

    3. Remove the O-ring from the transmission revolution sensor (NT).
