FRONT POWER SEAT MOTOR ASSEMBLY(for Front Vertical) INSTALLATION

  • Use the same procedure for RHD and LHD vehicles.

  • The procedure listed below is for LHD vehicles.

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL POWER SEAT MOTOR ASSEMBLY (for Front Vertical)


    1. Install a nose piece to an air riveter or hand riveter. Then insert the mandrel part of a new φ4 mm rivet into the nose piece.

      *1 Air Riveter

      Using the air riveter or hand riveter, install the power seat motor assembly with 2 new rivets.

      Tech Tips

      If the rivet cannot be cut, pull it once and cut it.

      Using the air riveter or hand riveter, install the power seat motor assembly with bracket with 2 new rivets.

      Using the air riveter or hand riveter, install 4 new rivets.

      Tech Tips

      If the rivet cannot be cut, pull it once and cut it.

      Using a 6 mm socket hexagon wrench, install the bolt.

      Torque:
      20 N*m  { 204 kgf*cm, 15 ft.*lbf }

      Connect the connector.

      Install the shield bracket with the 3 screws.

  4. INSTALL FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY LH (for Driver Side)

  5. INSTALL FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY RH (for Front Passenger Side)

  6. INSTALL SEAT SLIDE POSITION SENSOR PROTECTOR (for Driver Side)

  7. INSTALL FRONT POWER SEAT SWITCH LH

  8. INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD LH WITH FRONT SEAT NO. 1 INNER CUSHION SHIELD LH

  9. INSTALL SLIDE AND VERTICAL POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB

    Click here

  10. INSTALL RECLINING POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB

  11. INSTALL FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY

  12. CHECK SRS WARNING LIGHT

    Click here

  13. INSPECT FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY


    1. Check the power seat operation Click here.

    2. Check the seat heater operation.


      1. Turn the ignition switch to ON.

      2. Operate the seat heater switch on.

      3. Wait 5 minutes or more and confirm that the seat surface becomes warm.
