LUMBAR SUPPORT ADJUSTER ASSEMBLY(for Manual Seat) INSTALLATION

  • Use the same procedure for RHD and LHD vehicles.

  • The procedure listed below is for LHD vehicles.

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL LUMBAR SUPPORT ADJUSTER ASSEMBLY LH


    1. B0040FC

      Pass the pump of the lumbar support adjuster assembly LH through the hole in the seatback spring as shown in the illustration.

    2. Attach the 4 hooks.

    3. Fold down the backing sheet and insert it into the openings as shown in the illustration.

    4. Attach the 2 hooks.

    5. Attach the 2 hooks as shown in the illustration.

      Install 2 new cable ties.

    7. Return the wire harness to its original position as shown in the illustration.

      Attach the 8 hooks to install the seatback spring.

      Connect the connector.

      Attach the 2 claws to install the front outer seat cushion bracket with connector link.

      Connect the connector link and install the clip.

  6. INSTALL RECLINING CONTROL LEVER LH

  9. INSTALL SEAT SLIDE POSITION SENSOR PROTECTOR

  11. INSTALL RECLINING ADJUSTER RELEASE HANDLE LH

  15. CHECK SRS WARNING LIGHT

  16. INSPECT FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY


    1. Check the lumbar support operation.


      1. Operate the lumbar front power seat switch and check that the lumbar support moves in both directions.

    2. w/ Seat Heater System:

      Check the seat heater operation.


      1. Turn the ignition switch to ON.

      2. Operate the seat heater switch on.

      3. Wait 5 minutes or more and confirm that the seat surface becomes warm.
