PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT FRONT SEAT CUSHION HEATER ASSEMBLY LH (for Type A)


    1. Check the front seat cushion heater assembly LH.


      1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Resistance
        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        A1 (E) - B1 Always Below 1 Ω
        A2 (THL) - B2
        A3 (SWL) - B3
        A4 (B) - B4
        C4 - D2
        C1 - D1 20°C (68°F) 0.70 to 0.85 Ω
        C2 - C3 4.5 to 5.5 kΩ

        If the result is not as specified, replace the front seat cushion heater assembly LH.

  2. INSPECT FRONT SEAT CUSHION HEATER ASSEMBLY LH (for Type B)


    1. Check the front seat cushion heater assembly LH.


      1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        *3 Connector C - -

        Component without harness connected

        Standard Resistance
        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        A1 - B12 Always Below 1 Ω
        A2 - B4
        A3 - B3
        A4 - B8
        B7 - C2
        B1 - C1 20°C (68°F) 0.70 to 0.85 Ω
        B6 - B11 4.5 to 5.5 kΩ

        If the result is not as specified, replace the front seat cushion heater assembly LH.

  3. INSPECT FRONT SEAT CUSHION HEATER ASSEMBLY RH (for Type A)


    1. Check the front seat cushion heater assembly RH.


      1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        If the result is not as specified, replace the front seat cushion heater assembly RH.

  4. INSPECT FRONT SEAT CUSHION HEATER ASSEMBLY RH (for Type B)


    1. Check the front seat cushion heater assembly RH.


      1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
