    1. Install the differential assembly to the transaxle case.

    2. Install the transaxle housing to the transaxle case.

    3. A00583DE02

      Install the 18 bolts.

      Torque:
      for bolt A
      22 N*m  { 225 kgf*cm, 16 ft.*lbf }
      for bolt B and C
      29 N*m  { 300 kgf*cm, 22 ft.*lbf }
      for bolt D
      33 N*m  { 337 kgf*cm, 24 ft.*lbf }

      for bolt F
      25 N*m  { 255 kgf*cm, 18 ft.*lbf }

      Tech Tips

      Each bolt length is indicated below.

      Bolt length
      for bolt A, B, E and F
      50 mm (1.97 in.)
      for bolt C and D
      42 mm (1.66 in.)
    4. A0057IGE07

      Using SST and a torque wrench, turn SST at 60 rpm and measure the preload of the differential.

      SST
      09564-32011
      Standard turning torque at 60 rpm
      for new bearing
      0.20 to 0.69 N*m (2.0 to 7.0 kgf*cm, 1.8 to 6.1in.*lbf)
