CRUISE CONTROL SYSTEM Cruise SET Indicator Light Circuit

DESCRIPTION

• When the ECM detects a cruise control switch ON signal from the cruise control switch, it sends it to the combination meter assembly through CAN communication. Then the cruise SET indicator light turns on.

• The cruise SET indicator light circuit uses CAN communication. If there is a malfunction in this circuit, check for DTCs in the CAN communication system before troubleshooting this circuit.

PROCEDURE

1. PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING GTS (SET INDICATOR LIGHT)

   
   

   1. Select the item below in the Active Test and then check that the cruise SET indicator light illuminates.

2. READ VALUE USING GTS (-SET SWITCH)

   
   

   1. Use the Data List to check if the cruise SET indicator light is functioning properly.
