LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR REASSEMBLY


  1. INSTALL REAR LIGHT ASSEMBLY LH


    1. A01HSNBE01

      Install the rear light assembly with the 3 nuts.

      Torque:
      Nut (A)
      4.1 N*m  { 42 kgf*cm, 36 in.*lbf }
      Nut (B)
      3.6 N*m  { 37 kgf*cm, 32 in.*lbf }

    2. Connect the connector.

  2. INSTALL REAR LIGHT ASSEMBLY RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  3. INSTALL LICENSE PLATE LIGHT ASSEMBLY LH


    1. Engage the 2 claws to install the license plate light assembly.

    2. Connect the connector.

  4. INSTALL LICENSE PLATE LIGHT ASSEMBLY RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  5. INSTALL REAR TELEVISION CAMERA ASSEMBLY (w/ Rear Monitor)


    1. Engage the 2 claws to install the rear television camera assembly.

    2. Connect the connector.

  6. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR OUTSIDE GARNISH SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. Install 6 new gaskets to the luggage compartment door outside garnish sub-assembly.

    2. Install a new clip (back door outside garnish clip) and 2 new clips to the luggage compartment door outside garnish sub-assembly.

      Engage the 3 clips to install the luggage compartment door outside garnish sub-assembly.

    4. Install the 6 nuts.

    5. Connect the connector.

  7. INSTALL REAR SPOILER SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/ Rear Spoiler)


    1. When replacing the rear spoiler with a new one:


      1. Install the 2 stud bolts to the rear spoiler.

    2. Install 2 new gaskets to the rear spoiler.

    3. Install 4 new clips to the rear spoiler.

    4. Clean the rear spoiler.


      1. Remove any double-sided tape from the rear spoiler.

      2. Wipe off any tape adhesive residue with cleaner.

    5. Install a new No. 2 rear spoiler protector.


      1. Remove the release paper from the No. 2 rear spoiler protector.

        Tech Tips

        After removing the release paper, keep the exposed adhesive free from foreign matter.

      2. Install a new No. 2 rear spoiler protector.

        Tech Tips

        Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

    6. Install the No. 1 rear spoiler protector.


      1. Remove the release paper from the No. 1 rear spoiler protector.

        Tech Tips

        After removing the release paper, keep the exposed adhesive free from foreign matter.

      2. Install the No. 1 rear spoiler protector as shown in the illustration.

        A 5.0 mm (0.197 in.) B 5.0 mm (0.197 in.)

    7. Clean the vehicle body surface.


      1. Using a heat light, heat the vehicle body surface.

      2. Remove the double-sided tape from the vehicle body.

      3. Wipe off any tape adhesive residue with cleaner.

    8. Install the rear spoiler sub-assembly.


      1. Using a heat light, heat the vehicle body and rear spoiler sub-assembly.

      2. Remove the release paper from the rear spoiler sub-assembly.

        Tech Tips

        After removing the release paper, keep the exposed adhesive free from foreign matter.

      3. A01HTXB

        Engage the 4 clips.

      4. Install the rear spoiler sub-assembly with the 2 nuts.

  8. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR LOCK ASSEMBLY


    1. Apply MP grease to the sliding parts of the luggage compartment door lock assembly.

    2. Engage the luggage door lock control cable sub-assembly.

    3. A01HSNG

      Engage the claw as shown in the illustration.

    4. Install the luggage compartment door lock assembly with the 2 bolts.

      Torque:
      5.5 N*m  { 56 kgf*cm, 49 in.*lbf }

    5. Connect the connector.

  9. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR CUSHION


    1. A01HSZT

      Engage the 2 claws and install the 2 new luggage compartment door panel cushions.

  10. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR COVER


    1. A01HVNE

      Install the luggage compartment door cover with the 13 clips.

  11. ADJUST REAR TELEVISION CAMERA ASSEMBLY OPTICAL AXIS (w/ Parking Assist Monitor System)
