REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY REASSEMBLY


  1. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE REAR SEATBACK COVER LH


    1. A01HVGV

      Using hog ring pliers, install the separate type rear seatback cover LH to the separate type rear seatback pad LH with 10 new hog rings.

      Note


      • Be careful not to damage the cover.

      • Be sure to securely install the hog rings as shown in the illustration while preventing wrinkles from forming on the separate type rear seatback cover LH.

  2. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK FRAME SUB-ASSEMBLY LH


    1. A01HVSF

      Engage the 20 claws to install the rear seatback frame sub-assembly LH to the separate type rear seatback cover with pad LH.

  3. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK CARPET LH

      *1 Fastener

      Engage the 2 fasteners.

    2. Install the rear seatback carpet with the 3 clips.

  4. INSTALL REAR SEAT CENTER SHOULDER BELT GUIDE


    1. A01HSCP

      Engage the guide.

    2. Install the rear seat center shoulder belt guide to the rear seatback assembly LH with the 2 screws.

  5. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE REAR SEATBACK COVER RH


    1. A01HVYT

      Using hog ring pliers, install the separate type rear seatback cover RH to the separate type rear seatback pad RH with 13 new hog rings.

      Note


      • Be careful not to damage the cover.

      • Be sure to securely install the hog rings as shown in the illustration while preventing wrinkles from forming on the separate type rear seatback cover RH.

  6. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK FRAME SUB-ASSEMBLY RH


    1. A01HU1P

      Engage the 20 claws to install the rear seatback frame sub-assembly RH to the separate type rear seatback cover with pad RH.

  7. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK CARPET RH

      Engage the 3 fasteners.

    2. Install the rear seatback carpet RH with the 5 clips.

  8. INSTALL REAR SEAT CENTER ARMREST ASSEMBLY


    1. A01HVDU

      Engage the guide.

    2. Install the rear seat center armrest assembly with the bolt and washer.

  9. INSTALL REAR SIDE SEATBACK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY LH


    1. A01HT4J

      Install the rear side seatback cover sub-assembly LH to the rear side seatback pad LH.

  10. INSTALL AIR INTAKE SEAL


    1. Clean the installation surface of the rear No. 2 seat cover bezel.

    2. A01HUAT

      Install a new air intake seal to the rear No. 2 seat cover bezel.

  11. INSTALL REAR NO. 2 SEAT COVER BEZEL


    1. A01HW6J

      Install the rear No. 2 seat cover bezel to the rear side seatback frame sub-assembly LH with the 4 screws.

  12. INSTALL REAR SEAT AIRBAG ASSEMBLY LH

    CAUTION:


    • The nuts must not be reused.

    • Make sure that the rear side seatback frame sub-assembly is not deformed. If it is, replace it with a new one.


    1. Install the rear seat airbag assembly to the rear side seatback frame sub-assembly with 2 new nuts.

      Torque:
      8.0 N*m  { 82 kgf*cm, 71 in.*lbf }

    2. Engage the clamp to connect the airbag wire harness.

    3. for LH Side:


      1. Engage the 7 hooks to install the rear side seatback cover with pad.

    4. for RH Side:


      1. Engage the 8 hooks to install the rear side seatback cover with pad.

  13. INSTALL REAR SEAT SHOULDER BELT GUIDE LH


    1. A01HVQM

      Engage the guide.

    2. Install the rear seat shoulder belt guide LH to the rear side seatback assembly LH with the 2 screws.

  14. INSTALL REAR SIDE SEATBACK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY RH


    1. A01HSUM

      Install the rear side seatback cover sub-assembly RH to the rear side seatback pad RH.

  15. INSTALL REAR SEAT AIRBAG ASSEMBLY RH

  16. INSTALL REAR SEAT SHOULDER BELT GUIDE RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  17. INSTALL BENCH TYPE REAR SEAT CUSHION COVER


    1. Engage the 4 fasteners to install the bench type rear seat cushion cover to the bench type rear seat cushion pad.

    2. Using hog ring pliers, install 12 new hog rings.

  18. INSTALL REAR SEAT CUSHION FRAME SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. Engage the 16 hooks to install the rear seat cushion frame sub-assembly.
