This circuit provides power to operate the blind spot monitor sensor.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

Note

Inspect the fuses for circuits related to this system before performing the following inspection procedure.

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (BLIND SPOT MONITOR SENSOR RH - AUXILIARY BATTERY)


    1. Disconnect the O28 blind spot monitor sensor RH connector.

    2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      O28-5 (BRB) - Body ground Power switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V
      O28-5 (BRB) - Body ground Power switch off Below 1 V

    OK
  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (BLIND SPOT MONITOR SENSOR RH - BODY GROUND)


    1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      O28-10 (BRGD) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω

  3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (BLIND SPOT MONITOR SENSOR LH - AUXILIARY BATTERY)


    1. Disconnect the T10 blind spot monitor sensor LH connector.

    2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      T10-5 (BLB) - Body ground Power switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V
      T10-5 (BLB) - Body ground Power switch off Below 1 V

  4. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (BLIND SPOT MONITOR SENSOR LH - BODY GROUND)


    1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
