SATELLITE RADIO TUNER REMOVAL


  1. PRECAUTION (w/ Navigation System)

    Note

    After turning the power switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal notices before proceeding with work Click here.

  2. REMOVE LUGGAGE TRIM SERVICE HOLE COVER (w/ Navigation System)


    1. A01HUM2

      Disengage the claw to remove the luggage trim service hole cover.

  3. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL (w/ Navigation System)

    Note

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Click here.

  4. REMOVE REAR CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY

  5. REMOVE BOX BOTTOM MAT

      Remove the box bottom mat.

  6. REMOVE UPPER CONSOLE PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Remove the 2 screws <D> or <E>.

    2. A01HV6V

      Disengage the 4 clips and guide as shown in the illustration.

    3. Disconnect each connector to remove the upper console panel sub-assembly.

  7. REMOVE CENTER INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL ASSEMBLY

      Using a moulding remover, disengage the 2 claws and 2 clips as shown in the illustration.

    2. A01HSUT

      Using a moulding remover, disengage the 2 claws and 2 clips as shown in the illustration.

    3. A01HVNV

      Disengage the 3 claws and 2 clips as shown in the illustration.

    4. A01HSZ6

      Disengage the clamp.

    5. Disconnect the connector to remove the center instrument cluster finish panel assembly.

  8. REMOVE NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL REGISTER ASSEMBLY


    1. A01HTS7

      Pull the No. 2 instrument panel register assembly in the direction indicated by the arrow to disengage the 6 clips to remove the No. 2 instrument panel register assembly.

  9. REMOVE RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY WITH AIR CONDITIONING CONTROL ASSEMBLY (w/o Navigation System)

      Apply protective tape to the areas shown in the illustration.

      Remove the 4 bolts.

    3. A01HUHX

      Pull the radio receiver assembly with air conditioning control assembly toward the rear of the vehicle and disengage the 8 clips.

    4. Disconnect each connector and remove the radio receiver assembly with air conditioning control assembly.

  10. REMOVE NAVIGATION RECEIVER ASSEMBLY WITH AIR CONDITIONING CONTROL ASSEMBLY (w/ Navigation System)

      Apply protective tape to the areas shown in the illustration.

      Remove the 4 bolts.

    3. A01HV5C

      Pull the navigation receiver assembly with air conditioning control assembly toward the rear of the vehicle and disengage the 8 clips.

    4. Disconnect each connector and remove the navigation receiver assembly with air conditioning control assembly.

  11. REMOVE NO. 1 RADIO BRACKET


    1. w/o Satellite Radio:

        Remove the 5 screws and No. 1 radio bracket.

    2. w/ Satellite Radio:


      1. A01HTMP

        Remove the 7 screws and No. 1 radio bracket.

  12. REMOVE NO. 2 RADIO BRACKET


    1. w/o Satellite Radio:


      1. A01HVOP

        Remove the 5 screws and No. 2 radio bracket.

    2. w/ Satellite Radio:


      1. A01HW39

        Remove the 7 screws and No. 2 radio bracket.

  13. REMOVE AIR CONDITIONING CONTROL ASSEMBLY


    1. A01HSYM

      Disengage the 4 clips and guide, and remove the air conditioning control assembly as shown in the illustration.

  14. REMOVE NO. 1 NAVIGATION WIRE


    1. A01HTDY

      Disconnect the 6 connectors to remove the No. 1 navigation wire.

  15. REMOVE STEREO COMPONENT TUNER ASSEMBLY
