DRAIN COOLANT (for Engine)
Note
Do not remove the radiator cap sub-assembly or radiator drain cock plug while the engine and radiator are still hot. Pressurized, hot engine coolant and steam may be released and cause serious burns.
Loosen the radiator drain cock plug.
Remove the radiator cap sub-assembly.

Collect the coolant in a container and dispose of it according to the regulations in your area.

REMOVE FRONT WHEEL OPENING EXTENSION PAD LH
REMOVE ENGINE UNDER COVER RH
REMOVE ENGINE UNDER COVER LH
REMOVE LUGGAGE TRIM SERVICE HOLE COVER
Disengage the claw to remove the luggage trim service hole cover.
DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL
Note
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Click here.
REMOVE COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL
Remove the 7 clips and cool air intake duct seal.
REMOVE INLET AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY
Remove the 2 bolts and inlet air cleaner assembly.
REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE SUB-ASSEMBLY

Put protective tape around the radiator grille sub-assembly.
Remove the 3 clips.
Disengage the 8 claws and remove the radiator grille sub-assembly.
REMOVE NO. 5 INVERTER BRACKET
Remove the 2 bolts and No. 5 inverter bracket.
REMOVE RADIATOR RESERVE TANK ASSEMBLY
Disconnect the radiator reserve tank hose.
Remove the 2 bolts and radiator reserve tank assembly.
DISCONNECT NO. 1 RADIATOR HOSE
Disconnect the No. 1 radiator hose.
DISCONNECT NO. 2 RADIATOR HOSE
Disconnect the No. 2 radiator hose and clamp.
DISCONNECT NO. 1 INVERTER COOLING PIPE ASSEMBLY
Remove the 2 bolts and disconnect the No. 1 inverter cooling pipe assembly.
REMOVE HOOD LOCK ASSEMBLY
w/ Engine Hood Courtesy Switch:
Disconnect the connector.
Remove the 3 bolts.
Disconnect the hood lock control cable assembly and remove the hood lock assembly.
REMOVE UPPER RADIATOR SUPPORT
Disconnect the 2 connectors.
Disconnect the hood lock control cable clamp and remove the 5 bolts and upper radiator support.
Remove the 2 radiator support cushions.
REMOVE RADIATOR ASSEMBLY
Disconnect the 2 clamps.
Disconnect the 2 clamps and connector.
Disconnect the clamp and No. 4 inverter cooling hose.
Remove the 4 bolts and separate the condenser assembly from the radiator assembly (for inverter coolant).
Remove the radiator assembly with the fan assembly.
Note
Do not apply any excessive force to the radiator assembly (for inverter coolant), cooler condenser assembly or pipe when removing the radiator assembly.
Remove the 2 lower radiator supports.
Release the 3 claws and lift the fan assembly from the radiator.
