  1. INSPECT REAR LIGHT ASSEMBLY


    1. Disconnect the connectors from the rear light assembly.

    2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      R12-1 - R12-2 Light control switch in tail position 11 to 14 V
      Light control switch off Below 1 V
      R8-1 - R8-2 Engine started and shift lever not in R Below 1 V
      Engine started and shift lever in R 11 to 14 V
      RH Side
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      R11-1 - R11-2 Light control switch in tail position 11 to 14 V
      Light control switch off Below 1 V
      R6-1 - R6-2 Engine started and shift lever not in R Below 1 V
      Engine started and shift lever in R 11 to 14 V

      If the result is not as specified, repair or replace the wire harness or connector.
