POWER BACK DOOR TOUCH SENSOR INSTALLATION


  1. INSTALL POWER BACK DOOR TOUCH SENSOR ASSEMBLY


    1. Tie the string to the wire near the connector of the power back door touch sensor assembly.

      Tech Tips

      Use the string that was left in the door during removal of the touch sensor assembly.

    2. A01EIWR

      Pull the string to help pass the connector through the inside of the back door frame.

    3. A01ELT5

      Engage the 2 clips.

    4. Install the power back door touch sensor assembly with the 5 bolts.

    5. Connect the connector.

  2. INSTALL BACK DOOR TRIM COVER


    1. A01EJ6V

      Engage the 2 clips to install the back door trim cover LH.

  3. CONNECT POWER BACK DOOR ROD (for LH Side)


    1. A01ELYS

      Install the stop ring to the power back door rod.

    2. A01EJMA

      Install the power back door rod.

  4. INSTALL BACK DOOR PANEL TRIM ASSEMBLY


    1. A01EJ5Z

      Engage the 16 clips and install the back door panel trim assembly.

  5. INSTALL UPPER BACK WINDOW PANEL TRIM


    1. A01EJO5

      Engage the 4 clips and 4 claws to install the upper back window panel trim.
