  1. INSPECT POWER BACK DOOR CLOSER SWITCH

    Component without harness connected

    (Power Back Door Closer Switch)

    1. Check that the switch function.


      1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Resistance
        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        4 - 1 Pushed (ON) Below 1 Ω
        4 - 1 Free (OFF) 10 kΩ or higher

        If the result is not as specified, replace the switch.

      Component without harness connected

      (Power Back Door Closer Switch)

      Check that the switch illuminates.


      1. Apply battery voltage to the power back door closer switch and check that the switch illuminates.

        OK
        Measurement Condition Specified Condition

        Battery positive (+) → 3 (ILL+)

        Battery negative (-) → 2 (ILL-)

        		 Illuminates

        If the result is not as specified, replace the switch.
