DESCRIPTION

The main power source is supplied to the A/C amplifier when the ignition switch is ON.

This power source is used for operating the A/C amplifier and servo motor, etc.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

Note

Inspect the fuses for circuits related to this system before performing the following inspection procedure.

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (A/C AMPLIFIER - IG POWER SOURCE)


    1. Disconnect the D47 A/C amplifier connector.

    2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      D47-1 (IG+) - Body ground Ignition switch off Below 1 V
      D47-1 (IG+) - Body ground Ignition switch ON 11 to 14 V

    REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

    OK

  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (A/C AMPLIFIER - BODY GROUND)


    1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      D47-14 (GND) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
