DESCRIPTION

The air conditioning harness connects the A/C amplifier and the servo motors. The A/C amplifier supplies power and sends operation instructions to each servo motor through the air conditioning harness. Each servo motor sends damper position information to the A/C amplifier.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE


  1. PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING GTS


    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the ignition switch to ON.

    3. Turn the GTS on.

    4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Air Conditioner / Active test.

    5. Check the operation by referring to the table below.

    6. According to the test result, proceed to the next step.

      Tech Tips

      Since the servo motor cannot be inspected while it is removed from the vehicle, replace the servo motor with a new or a known good one and check that the condition returns to normal.

    2. Check for the DTC.

    1. Disconnect the D47 A/C amplifier connector.

    2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
