FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY INSTALLATION


  1. INSTALL FRONT SHOULDER BELT ANCHOR ADJUSTER ASSEMBLY


    1. A01EKQG

      Engage the adjuster positioning hole with the guide and install the front shoulder belt anchor adjuster assembly with the 2 bolts.

      Torque:
      42 N*m  { 428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf }

  2. INSTALL FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY


    1. A01EMMJ

      Engage the 2 guides.

    2. Install the front seat outer belt assembly with the bolt.

      Torque:
      7.5 N*m  { 77 kgf*cm, 66 in.*lbf }
    3. A01EJ3Y

      Connect the connector and lock the locking button as shown in the illustration.

      Note

      Securely lock the locking button.

    4. A01EMEA

      Connect the shoulder anchor of the front seat outer belt assembly with the nut.

      Torque:
      42 N*m  { 428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf }

  3. INSTALL UPPER CENTER PILLAR GARNISH


    1. Pass the floor anchor of the front seat outer belt assembly LH through the upper center pillar garnish LH.

    2. A01EMHL

      Engage the clip.

    3. Install the upper center pillar garnish LH with the screw.

  4. INSTALL LOWER CENTER PILLAR GARNISH


    1. A01EL6Q

      Engage the guide, 2 claws and the 2 clips to install the lower center pillar garnish LH as shown in the illustration.

  5. CONNECT FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY


    1. A01EL5J

      Install the floor end of the front seat outer belt assembly with the bolt.

      Torque:
      42 N*m  { 428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf }

    2. Check if the ELR locks.

      Note

      The check should be performed with the outer belt assembly installed.


      1. With the belt assembly installed, check that the belt locks when it is pulled out quickly.

  6. INSTALL LAP BELT OUTER ANCHOR COVER


    1. A01EJOK

      Engage the 3 claws to install the lap belt outer anchor cover.

  7. CONNECT REAR DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP


    1. A01EKIO

      Connect the rear door opening trim weatherstrip.

  8. INSTALL REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE


    1. A01EMQ6

      Engage the 2 clips and 6 claws to install the rear door scuff plate LH.

  9. CONNECT FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP


    1. A01EKTQ

      Connect the front door opening trim weatherstrip.

  10. INSTALL FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE


    1. A01ELE9

      Engage the guide, 3 clips and the 7 claws to install the front door scuff plate LH.

  11. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    Note

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Click here.

  12. INSPECT SRS WARNING LIGHT


    1. Inspect the SRS warning light Click here.
