FRONT SEAT CUSHION HEATER INSTALLATION


  1. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER


    1. A01EM5K

      Using a tacker, install the separate type front seat cushion heater to the end of the separate type front seat cushion cover with 25 new tack pins.

      Note

      Be careful not to damage the cushion.

      *1 Hog Ring Pliers

      Using hog ring pliers, temporarily install the separate type front seat cushion cover with 18 new hog rings.

      Note


      • Be careful not to damage the cover.

      • Be sure to securely install the hog rings as shown in the illustration while preventing wrinkles from forming on the separate type front seat cushion cover.

  2. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD

      Temporarily install the separate type front seat cushion cover with pad to the front seat frame assembly with adjuster.

    2. Engage each hook as shown in the illustration.

    3. Install the 2 clips.

    4. A01EJ6L

      Connect the connector.

    5. Engage each clamp.

    6. A01ELW7

      Engage the 4 hooks and install the separate type front seat cushion cover with pad.

  3. INSTALL POSITION CONTROL ECU AND SWITCH ASSEMBLY (for Driver Side)


    1. A01ELIF

      Connect the 2 connectors.

    2. A01EK8D

      Engage the guide.

    3. Install the position control ECU and switch assembly with the 3 screws.

  4. INSTALL FRONT POWER SEAT SWITCH RH (for Front Passenger Side)


    1. A01EIX7

      Connect the connector.

    2. Install the front power seat switch RH with the 3 screws.

  5. INSTALL FRONT INNER SEAT CUSHION SHIELD


    1. A01EJPN

      Engage the guide as shown in the illustration.

    2. A01EJMW

      Engage the claw.

    3. Install the front inner seat cushion shield with the screw.

  6. INSTALL FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY

      *1 Protruding Part

      Install the front seat inner belt assembly with the nut.

      Torque:
      42 N*m  { 428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf }

      Note

      Do not allow the anchor part of the front seat inner belt assembly to overlap the protruding part of the front seat adjuster.

    2. Connect each connector and engage each clamp.

  7. INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD ASSEMBLY


    1. A01ELRX

      Connect the connector to the front power seat lumbar switch.

    2. A01EJB8

      Engage the guide and claw.

    3. Install the front seat cushion shield assembly with the 5 screws.

    4. A01EM3G

      Engage the 2 hooks.

  8. INSTALL SLIDE AND VERTICAL POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB


    1. A01EKTM

      Engage the 4 claws to install the slide and vertical power seat switch knob.

  9. INSTALL RECLINING POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB


    1. A01EJZ1

      Engage the 4 claws to install the reclining power seat switch knob.

  10. INSTALL FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY


    1. Place the front seat assembly in the cabin.

      Note

      Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.

    2. Connect each connector under the front seat assembly.

    3. Connect the cable to the negative (-) battery terminal.

      Note

      When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Click here.

    4. Temporarily install the front seat assembly with the 4 bolts.

    5. Operate the slide and vertical power seat switch knob and move the seat to the rearmost position.

      Tighten the 2 bolts on front side of the front seat assembly.

      Torque:
      37 N*m  { 377 kgf*cm, 27 ft.*lbf }

      Tech Tips

      Tighten the bolts in the order indicated in the illustration.

    7. Operate the slide and vertical power seat switch knob and move the front seat assembly to the foremost position.

    8. A01ELZQE01

      Tighten the 2 bolts on rear side of the front seat assembly.

      Torque:
      37 N*m  { 377 kgf*cm, 27 ft.*lbf }

      Tech Tips

      Tighten the bolts in the order indicated in the illustration.

  11. INSTALL FRONT SEAT REAR INNER TRACK COVER


    1. A01EKMV

      Engage the 2 claws to install the front seat rear inner track cover.

  12. INSTALL FRONT SEAT REAR OUTER TRACK COVER


    1. A01EK4X

      Engage the 2 claws to install the front seat rear outer track cover.

  13. INSTALL FRONT SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY

  14. INSPECT FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY


    1. Inspect the power seat operation.

    2. Check the seat heater operation.


      1. Turn the ignition switch to ON.

      2. Turn the seat heater switch on.

      3. Wait 5 minutes or more and confirm that the seat surface becomes warm.

  15. INSPECT SRS WARNING LIGHT
