LUMBAR SUPPORT ADJUSTER ASSEMBLY REMOVAL


  1. REMOVE FRONT SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY

  2. REMOVE FRONT SEAT REAR OUTER TRACK COVER


    1. Operate the slide and vertical power seat switch knob and move the front seat assembly to the foremost position.

      Disengage the 2 claws and remove the front seat rear outer track cover.

  3. REMOVE FRONT SEAT REAR INNER TRACK COVER

      Disengage the 2 claws and remove the front seat rear inner track cover.

  4. REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY


    1. A01ELZQ

      Remove the 2 bolts on rear side of the front seat assembly.

    2. Operate the slide and vertical power seat switch knob and move the front seat assembly to the rearmost position.

    3. A01ELJK

      Remove the 2 bolts on front side of the front seat assembly.

    4. Operate the slide and vertical power seat switch knob and move the front seat assembly to the center position. Also, operate the reclining power seat switch knob and move the front seatback assembly to the upright position.

    5. Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.

      CAUTION:

      Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system.

      Note

      When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Click here.

    6. Disconnect each connector under the front seat assembly.

    7. Remove the front seat assembly.

      Note

      Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.

  5. REMOVE SLIDE AND VERTICAL POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB

      Using a moulding remover, disengage the 2 claws as shown in the illustration.

    2. A01EJ96

      Using a moulding remover, disengage the 2 claws and remove the slide and vertical power seat switch knob as shown in the illustration.

  6. REMOVE RECLINING POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB

      Using a moulding remover, disengage the 4 claws and remove the reclining power seat switch knob.

  7. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD ASSEMBLY

      Disengage the 2 hooks.

    2. A01EJB8

      Remove the 5 screws.

    3. Disengage the claw.

    4. Disengage the guide and remove the front seat cushion shield assembly.

    5. A01ELRX

      Disconnect the connector from the front power seat lumbar switch.

  8. REMOVE POSITION CONTROL ECU AND SWITCH ASSEMBLY (for Driver Side)


    1. A01EK8D

      Remove the 3 screws.

    2. Disengage the guide.

    3. A01ELIF

      Disconnect the 2 connectors and remove the position control ECU and switch assembly.

  9. REMOVE FRONT POWER SEAT SWITCH RH (for Front Passenger Side)

      Remove the 3 screws.

    2. Disconnect the connector and remove the power seat switch.

  10. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY


    1. Disconnect each connector and disengage each clamp.

    2. A01EJNR

      Remove the nut and the front seat inner belt assembly.

  11. REMOVE FRONT INNER SEAT CUSHION SHIELD

      Remove the screw.

    2. Disengage the claw.

    3. A01EJGL

      Disengage the guide and remove the front inner seat cushion shield as shown in the illustration.

  12. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD


    1. A01ELW7

      Disengage the 4 hooks.

    2. A01EJ6L

      Disengage each clamp.

    3. Disconnect the connector.

    4. Using a clip remover, remove the 2 clips.

    5. Disengage each hook as shown in the illustration.

    6. A01ELK5

      Remove the separate type front seat cushion cover with pad as shown in the illustration.

  13. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. A01EKE8

      Remove the 2 screws.

    2. A01EKRH

      Using a moulding remover, disengage the 10 claws as shown in the illustration.

    3. A01EJM9

      Using a moulding remover, disengage the 4 claws as shown in the illustration.

    4. A01ELV6

      Disengage the 2 guides and remove the front seatback board sub-assembly as shown in the illustration.

  14. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD

      Turn back the separate type front seatback cover with pad to remove the nut and guide, and separate the bracket of the front seatback cover with pad.

      Disengage the 4 hooks.

    3. A01EJHQ

      Remove the 2 hog rings.

    4. A01EMA8

      Remove the 2 hog rings.

    5. A01ELNS

      Disengage the 4 claws and remove the 2 front seat headrest supports.

    6. Remove the separate type front seatback cover with pad from the front seat frame assembly with adjuster.

  15. REMOVE LUMBAR SUPPORT ADJUSTER ASSEMBLY

      Disengage the 8 guides and clamp and remove the front seatback spring sub-assembly.

    2. Disconnect the connector.

      Disengage the 2 screws and guide, and remove the lumbar support adjuster assembly.

    4. A01EKHY

      Remove the bush.
