FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY DISASSEMBLY


  1. REMOVE SEAT ADJUSTER COVER CAP

      Remove the seat adjuster cover cap.

      Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

  2. REMOVE RECLINING POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB

      Using a moulding remover, disengage the 4 claws and remove the reclining power seat switch knob.

  3. REMOVE SLIDE AND VERTICAL POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB

      Using a moulding remover, disengage the 2 claws as shown in the illustration.

    2. A01EJ96

      Using a moulding remover, disengage the 2 claws and remove the slide and vertical power seat switch knob as shown in the illustration.

  4. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD ASSEMBLY

      Disengage the 2 hooks.

    2. A01EJB8

      Remove the 5 screws.

    3. Disengage the claw.

    4. Disengage the guide and remove the front seat cushion shield assembly.

      Disconnect the connector from the front power seat lumbar switch.

  5. REMOVE FRONT INNER NO. 1 SEAT CUSHION SHIELD

      Remove the screw.

    2. Disengage the 2 claws and remove the front inner No. 1 seat cushion shield from the front seat cushion shield.

  6. REMOVE FRONT POWER SEAT LUMBAR SWITCH

      Remove the 2 screws and front power seat lumbar switch.

  7. REMOVE POSITION CONTROL ECU AND SWITCH ASSEMBLY (for Driver Side)

      Remove the 3 screws.

    2. Disengage the guide.

      Disconnect the 2 connectors and remove the position control ECU and switch assembly.

  8. REMOVE FRONT POWER SEAT SWITCH RH (for Front Passenger Side)

      Remove the 3 screws.

    2. Disconnect the connector and remove the power seat switch.

  9. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY


    1. Disconnect each connector and disengage each clamp.

      Remove the nut and the front seat inner belt assembly.

  10. REMOVE FRONT INNER SEAT CUSHION SHIELD

      Remove the screw.

    2. Disengage the claw.

    3. A01EJGL

      Disengage the guide and remove the front inner seat cushion shield as shown in the illustration.

  11. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION PROTECTOR

      Remove the 2 front seat cushion protectors.

  12. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD

      Disengage the 4 hooks.

    2. A01EJ6L

      Disengage each clamp.

    3. Disconnect the connector.

    4. Using a clip remover, remove the 2 clips.

    5. Disengage each hook as shown in the illustration.

      Remove the separate type front seat cushion cover with pad as shown in the illustration.

  13. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER

      Remove the 18 hog rings and separate type front seat cushion cover from the separate type front seat cushion pad.

  14. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION PROTECTOR (for LH Side)

      w/ Cover:


      1. Remove the 2 clips and front seat cushion protector from the separate type front seat cushion cover.

  15. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION HEATER ASSEMBLY

      Cut off the 25 tack pins that fasten the front seat cushion heater assembly, and then remove the front seat cushion heater assembly from the separate type front seat cushion cover.

  16. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Remove the 2 screws.

    2. A01EKRH

      Using a moulding remover, disengage the 10 claws as shown in the illustration.

      Using a moulding remover, disengage the 4 claws as shown in the illustration.

    4. A01ELV6

      Disengage the 2 guides and remove the front seatback board sub-assembly as shown in the illustration.

  17. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD

      Turn back the separate type front seatback cover with pad to remove the nut and guide, and separate the bracket of the front seatback cover with pad.

      Disengage the 4 hooks.

      Disengage the 4 claws and remove the 2 front seat headrest supports.

    6. Remove the separate type front seatback cover with pad from the front seat frame assembly with adjuster.

  18. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER

      Remove the 10 hog rings and the separate type front seatback cover from the separate type front seatback pad.

  19. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK HEATER ASSEMBLY

      Cut off the 12 tack pins that fasten the front seatback heater assembly, and then remove the front seatback heater assembly from the separate type front seatback cover.

  20. REMOVE FRONT SEAT SIDE AIRBAG ASSEMBLY

      Disengage the 4 clamps and disconnect the wire harness.

    2. A01EJ7B

      Disengage the 2 clamps and disconnect the wire harness.

    3. Remove the 2 nuts and front seat side airbag assembly.

      CAUTION:


      • The nuts must not be reused.

      • Make sure that the front seat frame assembly with adjuster is not deformed. If it is, replace it with a new one.

  21. REMOVE LUMBAR SUPPORT ADJUSTER ASSEMBLY

      Disengage the 10 guides and clamp, and remove the front seatback spring sub-assembly.

    2. Disconnect the connector.

  22. REMOVE UPPER ACTIVE HEADREST UNIT

      Remove the nut and disconnect the cable from the upper active headrest unit.

    2. Remove the 4 nuts and upper active headrest unit.

  23. REMOVE LOWER ACTIVE HEADREST UNIT

      Remove the 2 nuts and lower active headrest unit.

  24. REMOVE SEAT RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER LH

  30. REMOVE FRONT SEAT WIRE

      Disengage the 2 clamps.

    2. Disconnect the connector.

      Disengage the 4 clamps.

    4. Disconnect the 3 connectors.

      Disengage the 2 claws.

    6. Disengage the 5 clamps.

    7. Disconnect the 3 connectors and remove the front seat wire.

  31. REMOVE SEAT HEATER CONTROL SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Disconnect the connector.

    2. Disengage the clamp and remove the seat heater control sub-assembly.

  32. REMOVE SEAT POSITION SENSOR


    1. A01EJ44

      Disconnect the connector.

    2. Using a T30 "TORX" socket wrench, remove the "TORX" screw and seat position sensor with the seat slide position sensor protector.

    3. A01EKSV

      Remove the seat position sensor from the seat slide position sensor protector as shown in the illustration.

  33. REMOVE OCCUPANT CLASSIFICATION ECU (for Front Passenger Side)

      Disconnect the connector from the occupant classification ECU.

    2. Using a screwdriver with the tip wrapped with protective tape, disengage the claw to remove the occupant classification ECU.

  34. REMOVE FRONT SEAT WIRE RH (for Front Passenger Side)


    1. Disengage each clamp and remove the front seat wire RH.
