OCCUPANT CLASSIFICATION SYSTEM DTC CHECK / CLEAR

Tech Tips

Use the GTS to read and clear the DTC of the occupant classification ECU, otherwise the DTCs cannot be read and cleared.


  1. DTC CHECK


    1. Turn the ignition switch off.

    2. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    3. Turn the ignition switch to ON and turn the GTS on.

    4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Occupant Detection / Trouble Code.

    5. Check the DTCs by following the prompts on the GTS screen.

  2. DTC CLEAR


    1. Turn the ignition switch off.

    2. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    3. Turn the ignition switch to ON and turn the GTS on.

    4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Occupant Detection / Trouble Code.

    5. Clear the DTCs by following the prompts on the GTS screen.
