LIGHTING SYSTEM Interior Light Auto Cut Circuit

DESCRIPTION

When battery saving control operates while the interior lights are on, the main body ECU (driver side junction block assembly) opens the DOME CUT relay to turn off the lights.

  1. INSPECT DOME CUT RELAY


    1. Remove the DOME CUT relay.

      Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      3 - 5 When battery voltage is applied to terminals 1 and 2 Below 1 Ω
      3 - 5 When battery voltage is not applied between terminals 1 and 2 10 kΩ or higher

    REPLACE DOME CUT RELAY
