INSPECTION PROCEDURE

Note

  • Inspect the fuses for circuits related to this system before performing the following inspection procedure.

  • The power door lock control system uses a LIN communication system. Inspect the communication function by following How to Proceed with Troubleshooting Click here. Troubleshoot the power door lock control system after confirming that the communication system is functioning properly.

PROCEDURE

  1. CHECK DOOR LOCK OPERATION (ALL DOORS LOCK / UNLOCK)

    1. All doors can be locked/unlocked at the same time using the following:

      • Door control switch on the driver side (switch operation)

      • Door key cylinder linked with door lock on the driver side (key operation)

    2. Proceed to the next step according to symptom if all doors cannot be locked/unlocked at the same time.
