NAVIGATION RECEIVER REMOVAL


  1. PRECAUTION

    Note

    After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal notices before proceeding with work Click here.

  2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    Note

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Click here.

  3. REMOVE UPPER CONSOLE PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Pull the upper console panel sub-assembly in the direction indicated by the arrow to disengage the 6 clips.

    2. Disconnect the connectors and remove the upper console panel sub-assembly.

  4. REMOVE NO. 2 CONSOLE BOX CARPET

      Remove the No. 2 console box carpet.

  5. REMOVE CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY

      Remove the 2 bolts.

    2. A01EKCR

      Remove the screw and 2 clips.

    3. A01EJXQ

      Disengage the 2 claws.

    4. Disconnect the connectors and remove the console box assembly.

  6. REMOVE AIR CONDITIONING CONTROL ASSEMBLY

      Remove the screw.

      *1 Protective Tape

      Apply protective tape to the area shown in the illustration.

    3. Using a moulding remover, disengage the 2 clips and 4 guides as shown in the illustration.

    4. Disconnect the connector and remove the air conditioning control assembly.

  7. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH

  8. REMOVE COWL SIDE TRIM SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

  9. REMOVE NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. A01EMCD

      Push the 3 claws in the direction indicated by the arrow to disengage them.

    2. Disengage the guide and remove the No. 2 instrument panel under cover sub-assembly.

  10. REMOVE LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Remove the bolt <C> and 4 screws <E> or <F>.

    2. A01EIMR

      Disengage the claw, 3 clips and 5 guides.

    3. Disconnect the connectors and remove the lower instrument panel sub-assembly.

  11. REMOVE SHIFT LEVER KNOB SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Turn the shift lever knob counterclockwise and remove the shift lever knob sub-assembly.

  12. REMOVE POSITION INDICATOR HOUSING ASSEMBLY


    1. Move the shift lever to N.

    2. A01ELXD

      Disconnect the connector.

    3. Disengage the 3 clips and remove the position indicator housing assembly.

  13. REMOVE CONSOLE BOX SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. A01EK7A

      Remove the 2 screws <E> or <F>.

    2. Using a clip remover, remove the clip.

    3. Disconnect the connector.

    4. Disengage the 2 clamps.

    5. A01ELB3

      Disengage the 2 claws and 4 clips and remove the console box sub-assembly.

  14. REMOVE NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL SPEAKER PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Using a screwdriver, disengage the 9 claws and 4 guides, and remove the No. 2 instrument panel speaker panel sub-assembly.

      Tech Tips

      Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

  15. REMOVE NAVIGATION RECEIVER ASSEMBLY WITH BRACKET

      Remove the 4 bolts.

    2. Disengage the 2 clips.

    3. Disconnect each connector and remove the navigation receiver assembly with bracket.

  16. REMOVE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER CENTER FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. A01EJN8

      Remove the 4 screws.

    2. A01EM9I

      Disengage the 4 claws and remove the instrument cluster center finish panel sub-assembly.

  17. REMOVE NO. 1 RADIO RECEIVER BRACKET


    1. A01EMRI

      Remove the 4 screws and No. 1 radio receiver bracket.

  18. REMOVE NO. 2 RADIO RECEIVER BRACKET


    1. A01EKUM

      Remove the 4 screws and No. 2 radio receiver bracket.

  19. REMOVE NAVIGATION RECEIVER ASSEMBLY
