RADIO ANTENNA CORD REMOVAL


  1. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL SAFETY PAD ASSEMBLY

  2. REMOVE ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. Disengage the 7 clamps and remove the antenna cord sub-assembly.

  3. REMOVE ROOF HEADLINING ASSEMBLY

  4. REMOVE NO. 2 ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. Peel up the strips of tape so that the washer hose and No. 2 antenna cord sub-assembly can be removed.

      Tech Tips

      Tape is not available as a supply part. Try to leave as much tape as possible on the roof headlining so that the tape can be reused.

    2. Remove the washer hose and No. 2 antenna cord sub-assembly from the roof headlining assembly.

  5. REMOVE UPPER BACK WINDOW PANEL TRIM

      Disengage the 4 clips and 4 claws, and remove the upper back window panel trim.

  6. REMOVE BACK DOOR TRIM PANEL ASSEMBLY

      Disengage the 16 clips and remove the back door panel trim assembly.

  7. REMOVE BACK DOOR TRIM COVER LH (w/o Power Back Door)

      Disengage the 2 clips and remove the back door trim cover LH.

  8. REMOVE BACK DOOR TRIM COVER LH (w/ Power Back Door)

      Disengage the 2 clips and remove the back door trim cover LH.

  9. REMOVE BACK DOOR TRIM COVER RH

      Disengage the 2 clips and remove the back door trim cover RH.

  10. REMOVE NO. 3 ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. A01EKSC

      Disconnect the 2 connectors.

    2. Disengage the 4 hooks and disconnect the washer hose.

    3. Disengage the 7 clamps.

      Disconnect the connector and disengage the clamp.

    5. Disengage the 4 clamps.

    6. Disconnect the grommet from the back door.

    7. Disengage the 2 claws.

      Remove the No. 3 antenna cord sub-assembly with the washer hose as shown in the illustration.
