PROCEDURE

1. CHECK CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

   
   

   1. Check if the CAN communication system DTC is output.

      Result
      Result Proceed to CAN communication system DTC is not output A CAN communication system DTC is output B

      Tech Tips

      When DTCs indicating a CAN communication system malfunction are output, repair the CAN communication system before repairing each corresponding sensor.

2. INSPECT AWD WARNING LIGHT

   
   

   1. Disconnect the AWD control ECU connector.

   2. Turn the ignition switch to ON.

   3. Check that the AWD warning light comes on.

      OK
      AWD warning light comes on.

   
   

   NG

   GO TO METER / GAUGE SYSTEM Click here
