OIL PUMP REASSEMBLY


  1. INSTALL FRONT OIL PUMP OIL SEAL


    1. A01EMPWE01

      Using SST and a hammer, install a new front oil pump oil seal to the front oil pump body sub-assembly.

      SST
      09350-32014   ( 09351-32140 )

      Note

      The seal end should be level with the outer edge of the oil pump.

    2. Coat the lip of the oil seal with MP grease.

  2. INSTALL FRONT OIL PUMP BODY O-RING


    1. A01ELGN

      Coat a new front oil pump body O-ring with ATF and install it to the front oil pump body sub-assembly.

      Note

      Ensure that the O-ring is not twisted.

  3. INSTALL FRONT OIL PUMP DRIVEN GEAR


    1. A01EJOD

      Coat the front oil pump driven gear with ATF and install it to the front oil pump body sub-assembly with the marked side up.

  4. INSTALL FRONT OIL PUMP DRIVE GEAR


    1. A01EIWV

      Coat the front oil pump drive gear with ATF, and install it to the front oil pump body sub-assembly with the marked side up.

  5. INSTALL STATOR SHAFT ASSEMBLY


    1. A01EMSTE01

      Align each knock pin of the stator shaft assembly with the holes in the front oil pump body sub-assembly and install the stator shaft assembly to the front oil pump body sub-assembly with the 16 bolts.

    2. Using a "TORX" socket (T30), install the 16 bolts.

      Torque:
      9.3 N*m  { 95 kgf*cm, 82 in.*lbf }

      -

      Bolt Length

      Bolt A

      		 14 mm (0.551 in.)

      Bolt B

      		 26 mm (1.02 in.)

  6. INSPECT FRONT OIL PUMP AND GEAR BODY SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. A01EL4I

      Turn the drive gear with 2 screwdrivers and make sure that it rotates smoothly.

      Note

      Be careful not to damage the oil seal lip.
