DESCRIPTION
The ECM detects a cruise control switch signal and sends it to the combination meter assembly through CAN. Then the SET indicator light comes on.
The SET indicator light circuit uses CAN for communication. If there is a malfunction in this circuit, check for DTCs in the CAN communication system before troubleshooting this circuit.

PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING GTS
Connect the GTS to the DLC3.
Turn the ignition switch to ON.
Turn the GTS on.
Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Combination Meter / Active Test.
Check the SET indicator light by performing the Active Test.

READ VALUE USING GTS
Connect the GTS to the DLC3.
Turn the ignition switch to ON.
Turn the GTS on.
Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Cruise Control / Data List.
According to the display on tester, read the Data List.
