FUEL PRESSURE REGULATOR INSTALLATION


  1. INSTALL FUEL PRESSURE REGULATOR ASSEMBLY

      *1 New O-ring

      Apply a light coat of gasoline to 2 new O-rings, and install them onto the fuel pressure regulator.

      *1 Fuel Pressure Regulator

      Install the fuel pressure regulator to the fuel filter.

  2. INSTALL FUEL PUMP ASSEMBLY WITH FILTER

      *1 O-ring
      *2 Spacer

      Apply gasoline to a new O-ring. Then install the O-ring and spacer to the fuel pump.

    2. A01EJHS

      Engage the 5 claws on the fuel filter and install the fuel pump assembly with filter.

      Note


      • Make sure the O-ring is not cut or pinched during the installation.

      • Attach the claws securely.

  3. INSTALL FUEL FILTER ASSEMBLY

      *1 Jet Pump
      *2 O-ring

      Apply gasoline to a new O-ring and install it to the jet pump.

      Install the jet pump to the sub-tank as shown in the illustration.

    3. A01EMD5

      Connect the jet pump nozzle to the fuel sub-tank.

    4. A01EKBV

      Install the fuel filter to the sub-tank and attach the 2 claws.

    5. A01EJ3Q

      Connect the fuel pump connector to the fuel pump.

  4. INSTALL FUEL SENDER GAUGE

      Install the fuel sender gauge by sliding it downward.

      Note

      Make sure that the fuel sender gauge arm does not bend.

    2. Connect the connector of the fuel sender gauge.

      Note

      Do not damage the wire harness.

  5. INSTALL FUEL SUCTION TUBE ASSEMBLY WITH PUMP AND GAUGE
